Martha Delehanty
Mrs. Martha Delehanty is chief people officer at Commvault and is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. She believes a robust human capital strategy is essential for any successful business. She has a deep understanding of the human capital landscape, and she leverages this knowledge to help companies to achieve their goals.
As chief people officer at Commvault, a recognized global leader in cloud data protection, Mrs. Delehanty is responsible for “getting, keeping, and building” the best talent in the industry to compete and win now and in the future. She built her 30-year career as a highly effective, results-driven human resources executive at Verizon and its predecessors, with her most recent role as senior vice president for Human Resource Global Operations. That position was responsible for global people operations across 135,000-plus employees and 30-plus countries. She uses her decades of human resources experience to guide and coach Commvault teams, numerous start-ups, and not-for-profits on building life-changing, market-differentiating cultures and people practices so each organization achieves its mission.
Mrs. Delehanty earned a BS in psychology from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. She is passionate and driven to ensure every individual reaches his or her fullest potential, with a special focus on underrepresented communities and women in tech/STEM.
Mrs. Delehanty and her husband, Kevin, have two daughters, Sam (BS ’20) and Alex (BBA ’22), and one son, Duke, a high school student. She and her family’s home base is in Jupiter, Florida.
