Jack F. Harper
Mr. Jack F. Harper is a partner at Hedloc Investment Company, a multi-family office he co-founded in 2005. He earned a BBA in finance from Baylor in 1993.
Mr. Harper was executive vice president of the Lower 48 and a member of the executive committee at ConocoPhillips before he retired from the company in January 2023. Prior to ConocoPhillips, he served in various executive roles at Concho Resources, including as president from 2017 until the time of its merger with ConocoPhillips in 2021. Before Concho, he served in various capacities related to finance, corporate planning and strategy, capital markets, and business development at Unocal Corporation, Pure Resources, Inc., and Tom Brown, Inc.
Mr. Harper serves as a senior advisor with Quantum Capital Group and as an advisor to Daniel Energy Partners. He is president of the Midland Wildcat Committee and serves as treasurer and a member of the executive committee with the Permian Strategic Partnership. Additionally, he serves on the board of trustees of the Abell-Hanger Foundation and is a past board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas - El Paso Branch.
Mr. Harper is married to Shelley Davis Harper (BBA ’92), and they have three daughters: Ferrell, Caroline, and Olivia.
