Elizabeth Ingram Carlyle

Mrs. Elizabeth Ingram Carlyle is the CEO of First Freedom Art Company in Houston. The collection includes over two hundred individual works of art, including the iconic painting, The Prayer at Valley Forge, which is currently on loan to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.

She previously served as a partner with Daniels & Tredennick PLLC, adjunct professor of business law at Houston Christian University, COO of The Brookwood Community, vice president and general counsel with Vision Source, and general counsel with Second Baptist Church of Houston. In 2020, Mrs. Carlyle was named as a Houston Woman Who Means Business by the Houston Business Journal.

Mrs. Carlyle earned a BBA in marketing in 1992 and a JD in 1995, both from Baylor University. While at Baylor, she was a member of Student Foundation, a Golden Girl twirler with the Golden Wave Marching Band, and a member of Mortar Board, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Delta Delta Delta. She currently serves on Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business Advisory Board.

Mrs. Carlyle and her husband, Trent Carlyle (BA ’92), an orthopedic surgeon, are members of Second Baptist Church of  Houston. They have two children, Cooper and Caroline (BBA ’24).
