Xavier Dawes

Mr. Xavier Dawes is a junior electrical and computer engineering major at Baylor University. He also is minoring in data science and mathematics. He plans to work in the aerospace and defense industry upon graduation.

Mr. Dawes serves as the vice president for Baylor’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and serves as an office assistant for the advisors of Baylor’s School of Engineering and Computer Science.

Concluding his recent visit to NSBE’s 49th national conference in Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Dawes received and accepted an offer with Boeing as a systems design engineering intern in Seattle, Washington, for the summer.

Mr. Dawes’ favorite verse is Joshua 1:9, and he attends church at Antioch in Waco.
