Carey P. Hendrickson
Mr. Carey P. Hendrickson serves as the chief financial officer at U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. (NYSE: USPH). Prior to joining U.S. Physical Therapy, he served as chief financial officer at two other public companies, Capital Senior Living and Belo Corp.
Mr. Hendrickson graduated with honors from Baylor University in 1985 with a BBA in accounting and earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. The Hendrickson family has supported various athletic and academic endeavors at Baylor, including the establishment of endowed scholarships and the creation of an endowment to support Semper Pro Musica, a solo and chamber music competition within the School of Music that culminates in a celebratory performance for the winners at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Mr. Hendrickson currently serves as chairman of the board of advisors for Baylor’s School of Music and was a member of Baylor’s Give Light Campaign Steering Committee. He also is a member of the University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Business advisory board. In addition, he served on the board of HighGround Advisors from 2013 to 2022, including two terms as chairman.
Mr. Hendrickson and his wife, Stacie Sanders Hendrickson (BSEd ’86), have a daughter, Holly Hendrickson Priest (BSEd ’12), and son-in-law, Buddy Priest (an Oklahoma Sooner), a son, Hunter Hendrickson (BBA ’14), and daughter-in-law, Emily Hendrickson (BBA ’15), and four grandchildren. They are active, longtime members of First Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, where Mr. Hendrickson is a deacon and has served in various leadership roles and as a Bible study teacher.
